YO' ViNNY  

Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, it was Rock&Roll Hall of Fame legend DION who set ViNNY on the path to becoming a musician. It was also with DION's help that ViNNY came to work with Terry Cashman&Tommy West, of Cashman&West fame. It was Cashman&West who produced all of Jim Croce's hit records. While working with Cashman&West, ViNNY was also able to work with DION on the albums RETURN OF THE WANDERER &FIRE IN THE NIGHT.

Still with Cashman, West and their partner Phil Kurnit, ViNNY currently produces records for Winthrop Records, Metrostar Records, American Originals Records and Lifesong Records. While working for Lifesong Records he has worked with HENRY GROSS, DEAN FRIEDMAN, CHRISTINE LAVIN and CRACK THE SKY.

ViNNY has worked in Nashville with acts such as PAM TILLIS, RANDY TRAVIS, BILLY RAY CYRUS and is also one of the producers of the LIVE AT THE BLUEBIRD Series for AMERICAN ORIGINALS Records. The BLUEBIRD is the legendary club located in Nashville, Tennessee. Over the past few years ViNNY has produced albums with DON SCHLITZ, BOB DIPIERO, MICHAEL JOHNSON, ANGELA KASET, HARLEY ALLEN, DON HENRY, J. FRED KNOBLOCH, JELLY ROLL JOHNSON, STEVE EARLE, TOWNES VAN ZANDT and GUY CLARK.

In 2003, ViNNY played Eric DeVene in the Heather Brothers Off-Broadway Production, CAFÉ A GO-GO. Most recently, ViNNY played the part of "Jimmy Whispers" in the first presentation of the Broadway-bound, A BRONX TALE and is the lead vocal voice of the group THE DUKES in the new Robert Davi, Chazz Palminteri, and Peter Bogdonovich film, "THE DUKES," a heist movie set to 50's rock and roll. Look for this release in 2007.

From 2002 through 2007 ViNNY has been a part of Butch Barbella's Streets Of The Bronx Band. Butch is the former Music Director for DION, The Duprees and The Earles. Most recently, ViNNY has branched out on his own and along with his two sons, Vinny and Nicky Stix and cousin Dino Rocco they have formed The Bronx Wanderers. A heist movie set to 50's rock and roll. The Dukes, a doo wop group, were on top of the world when they were 17, but now in 2007 they struggle to help their friends and family while holding on to the dreams of the past as they are forced to reinvent themselves in a new age.
